Spring Healing 2026
Planting Seeds of Hope — Support Healing, Community, and Care 🌱
In a world of worsening conflict, political violence, and targeted harm against immigrants and everyone else not aligned with the current administration, justice seekers, and everyday people, healing becomes a radical act. Join us on Friday, May 15, 6:30–8:30pm for a community gathering that nourishes our hearts, honors local changemakers, and builds strength for the work ahead.
Together, we plant seeds of hope that grow into lasting community care and collective healing. 🌱
Donate today — because hope that’s tended together is hope that lasts.
About the Event
This Spring, we come together to heal, nourish, connect, celebrate, and sustain one another — not in denial of the pain around us, but in solidarity with it.

From global wars to rising ICE raids in U.S. cities, from escalating political attacks on human rights to ongoing struggles for dignity here at home, our bodies and spirits are tired. But when we tend care together, we refill one another’s cups and deepen the collective resilience that makes justice possible.

Spring Healing 2026 is a space to:
🌼 Share nourishing food and wellness kits
🌼 Participate in healing rituals and embodied connection
🌼 Honor local leaders who keep hope alive in hard times
🌼 Build relationships that sustain movements, families, and communities
This evening is held in the HJC courtyard — a place of community, rest, and resistance.
Why It Matters Now
The last few years have challenged all of us:

-
Escalating global conflicts with devastating civilian tolls
-
Aggressive ICE operations in U.S. cities that harm immigrant families
-
Political leadership threatening human rights around the world
-
Increasing social, economic, and emotional strain on our communities
-

Healing today isn’t optional — it’s critical. Healing is political because it is what keeps us grounded, connected, and able to fight for justice — together.

Theory Of Change
The Healing & Justice Center works to build resilient, healing-centered communities rooted in empathy, safety, and connection. Through programs like iHeART Parenting and BREATHE, we equip individuals, families, and advocates with tools for emotional regulation, nonviolent communication, and self-awareness. Our approach recognizes that healing and justice are deeply interconnected, and that sustainable change begins within ourselves and our relationships. Grounded in lived experience and research, we create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. Together, we are transforming cycles of trauma into cultures of care, resilience, and collective thriving.
